Elm Creek Community Garden

Elm Creek Community Garden is a 501-C (3) non-profit organization. We are located in Iola, KS, a town in Southeast Kansas. Our monthly meetings are the 1st Monday of each month during the growing season.
We have a part time garden coordinator who is available to help answer questions and assist gardeners. We serve all of Allen County. We offer raised handicapped plots and ground plots. We promote healthy lifestyles, exercise, and good nutrition. We are trying to fight obesity. ECCG provides handicapped raised plots, tools, and handicapped parking. We offer free plots, water, plants, and seeds to the poor and under served. Elm Creek Community Garden won the 2010 Thrive Allen County Award for Excellence in Health and Wellness. The garden is supported in part by the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City, KU Inclusive gardening project, local donations and fund raising.
